Some people in Israel are convinced that salt could be used for any "minor" fish problem: acclimatation of new fishes (like
discus), decrease in appetite ...
I told Nir that this "natural" product should be used cautiously only for ectoparasitosis (?) (bacteria, unicellular parasites) with a minimal concentration of 4-5 g/l (or more for other specific american cichlidae) ... I told him also that this "light" treatment could turn to dangerous if a scientific protocol before use is not established ...
Other opinions?
